At Pho Ga Thanh Thanh, the star of the show is undoubtedly the pho. The Pho Ga (Chicken Pho) is a must-try, expertly crafted with a rich, flavorful broth that warms the soul. Priced at just $14.00, this bowl is filled with tender chicken and delicate rice noodles that seem to dance in the savory broth. For those looking to indulge further, try the Pho Ga Dui (Chicken Leg) for $20.00 or the Pho Ga Canh (Chicken Wing) at $15.00, each offering its unique texture and flavor profile.
If you're a fan of rice dishes, the Com Ga (Chicken & Rice) at $15.00 is another standout, pairing juicy chicken with perfectly cooked rice that's a comforting staple. Be sure not to overlook their TET Lunar New Year specials, showcasing authentic flavors meant to celebrate the occasion—like the Ga Cung Cooked ($40.00) alongside a delightful selection of pickled greens and bitter melon that create a fascinating contrast of flavors.
But don't just take our word for it. Customer reviews reflect the charm and quality of Pho Ga Thanh Thanh. One satisfied diner, Theresa Forte, raved about the phenomenal chicken pho, specifically praising the broth as "one of the absolute best" she's ever encountered. Others, like Kayla C, found their favorite take on pho with the Pho Bo Kho (Beef Stew), highlighting its unmatched flavor and perfect balance, even if they weren't typically fans of pho. In contrast, some reviews mention varied experiences with broth richness, indicating that while the restaurant has many satisfied customers, flavor preferences can vary. Nonetheless, the friendly service and quick food preparation certainly enhance the overall experience.

The food was good. I got the pho with all the meats. I added a lot of sauce but that’s my own preference. I enjoyed my bowl. The service was ok. Food came out quick. However, I felt my stomach hurting the moment I stood up. I hope it wasn’t the food but who knows. I will try again and see if it happens again another day. I’ll update this when I do Alright I went back for round 2z this time I got pho with beef and beef balls with extra meat. Everything came out quick and hot. Food was delish and no stomach issues. Definitely will be back again. I wish they had banh mi sandwiches.
Went here with the family but I'm not really a fan of pho. They really enjoyed everything they ordered. The place was clean and service was good and quick.
I ordered the Pho Bo Kho (Beef Stew). I do not usually like Pho but this was the best I have had in Philly. We went around Friday afternoon and the restaurant was practically empty so we had the place to ourselves which is great. I will definitely go back!
I rarely write reviews about anything but I had been told to check out the most phenomenonal chicken pho place if I ever in Phili. Well that day is today and OMG...the broth is amazing. I love chicken soup and the broth is the most important element and this broth by far is one of the absolute best I have ever had in my entire life. Everyone needs to check this place out and also the chicken dipping sauce is to die for!!! Run don't walk...you will not regret this and will judge all chicken broths going forward against this one. Hats off to the Chef and owner who is also very very nice.
I tried this pho restaurant and had a mixed experience. The staff were very friendly, and the food came out surprisingly fast, which was a plus. However, the pho broth was a bit underwhelming. It lacked the rich, deep flavor I’ve come to expect from a good pho. I ordered the all-meat pho, which had a decent variety of meats, but unfortunately, the broth was a bit bland. It could definitely use more depth and seasoning. Overall, it’s a solid option if you’re in a rush, but not the most flavorful pho I’ve had.
This review is only for the chicken lol I always get their whole cooked chicken, so simple but so good. I think their chicken pho is pretty good - some say it’s bland, but to me it’s not bland it’s just a lighter broth…its still flavorful to me and the accompanying lime chili salt dip they give makes everything 20x better. Can’t wait to try other things on their menu! Also, the young ladies that work there are very sweet and accommodating.
My chicken pho was phenomenal! and their service was topnotch as well. They heat up my mom's broth because she was there later than us. it's definitely an authentic experience with very lovely ladies! 100% recommended!
